Thoughts for today

Here we are doing another Sunday. I like Sunday’s. I like them especially when they last a long time. When we were raising our little people they went by like a rocket ship. We were always so busy on Sunday with getting ready for church. All the kids looked mighty fine when we came into the church, all six of them. We took up one pew. During the sermon one of us occasionally fell asleep. My youngest daughter would poke me and I would snap back into the moment. After church we would go home and change our clothes and go someplace to do something together. California had a huge number of places to go back in the seventies and it was mostly free. A great place to raise kids, especially on Sundays. We need more Sundays in the week.
