We did not have T.V. when I was a kid. Radio was the big deal. It was great. I had several favorites that I listened to during the week. Captain Midnight, Sky King, The Lone Ranger, to name a few. My family listened to the evening radio. Some of those were, Fibber Mcgee and Molly, George Burns and Gracie Allen, Red Skeleton, to name a few. These were great fun to listen to. They were all comedy shows. Wonderful humor. Red Skeleton was my favorite. He had a bunch of characters he played. The thing about the old radio entertainment was, it made you use your imagination. The sound effects they used triggered all sorts of visions, all in your head. I sure miss those old radio shows. Once in awhile someone will play them again in today's radio world. They are still funny and full of good clean humor.
